ASV is the main observational facility of AOB (Astronomical Observatory Belgrade), located in southern Serbia:
Longitude: 21° 33' 20.4"
Latitude: 43° 08' 24.6"
Altitude: 1150m
ASV has three operational telescopes:
The iKonL CCD has standard BVRI Johnson-Cousin filters, a broadband L filter, and narrow-band filters (Halpha, Hred-continuum, [SII]). The Milankovic telescope moving speed is 4-6 degree/sec and the filter change can happen in only a few seconds, making it adequate for fast responses.
The observing conditions at ASV are relatively good with average seeing of 1.5 (median is 1.2) arcsec and ~180 clear nights per year. They can be monitored with All Sky Camera, Weather station and Cloud watcher instruments.
Time allocation for the telescopes at the Astronomical station Vidojevica is possible by contacting the Time allocation committee, through the official AS Vidojevica page.
